- Neil Stolmaker Added 2017-09-03★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆This is the only movie theater in the small town of Powell River. It is a beautiful old historic building with murals on the walls. However, it is showing signs of its age. The padding in the seats has been packed down until they are hard and uncomfortable. The pitch of the floor makes it difficult to see if there is anyone tall in front of you and the screen is small. The projection and audio system are decent however, and so it is still possible to enjoy a movie here. They run new first-run movies every week, sometimes for longer and sometimes for as few as four days.
